WOKHA DISTRICT TO IMPLY ODD/EVEN NUMBER SYSTEM

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has notified that in view of the Covid-19 pandemic and in the interest of public safety with the aim to minimize non-essential movement of private vehicles, the following order will be implemented with effect from 1st June 2020 till further orders under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 (Amended by Motor Vehicle Amendment Act 2019).

DC TUENSANG NOTIFIES

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has notified to all concerned that, in view of the prevailing scenario of COVID-19 and highly contagious nature of the pandemic and as decided by the District Task Force meeting to extend the institutional quarantine period for the interstate returnees to Tuensang district up to 28 days in place of 14 days, prescribed under the SOP issued by the Government of Nagaland.

DC LONGLENG INFORMS VILLAGES AND WARDS

Deputy Commissioner Longleng has informed that some villages and wards in Longleng have erected gates to restrict movement of people to and out of their village/wards. The order asserted that it is imperative that Government offices and other private agencies continue to function to ensure the proper implementation of the various Government policies and programs.

REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

As on 29th May 2020, no violation of the lockdown was reported in the State. While issuing the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services, the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha informed that 150(One Hundred and Fifty) vehicles were challaned under various sections of the MV Act and an amount of Rs. 30,050/- was collected as fine.
