In the interest of the public health and safety and as measures of abundant caution in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, DC Peren has informed all construction agencies/companies undertaking developmental works in Peren District to furnish list of workers employed in such activities to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner at the earliest. All such agencies are to maintain movement registry of employees/workers entering the district from outside.
CHECKING OF NON-ESSENTIAL MOVEMENT UNDERWAY AT KOHIMA DISTRICT ENTRY POINTS
To prevent non-essential movement of persons entering the containment zone under Kohima district, strict enforcement on the laid restrictions and checking for all travellers at all district entry points have been activated, as per the decision taken by the Kohima District Task Force on COVID-19.
DC KOHIMA ISSUES ORDER ON ODD-EVEN SYSTEM IN KOHIMA
Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS, has informed that in exercise of power under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 movement of private vehicles shall be allowed to ply on ODD-EVEN system in the declared containment zones of 1) Kohima Municipal Council and 2) New Capital Complex.

NIGHT CURFEW TO BE IMPOSED IN KOHIMA FROM MAY 5
In pursuance to Home Department’s order Dated 3rd May 2021 and as decided at the Kohima District Task Force meeting held on 4th May 2021, the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTF Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has imposed night curfew in Kohima District on all days starting 5th May 2021 from 7 PM to 6 AM and will remain in force until further order.
