In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, DC Mon Thavaseelan K IAS on 1st May 2021 ordered the sealing of residence below Committee Gate, Tamong Village, next to Yokwang residence and House No. 284, Thamnan Ward, Mon Town till further order.  In another notification, the DC ordered the sealing of Rapha Hospital, Mon Town for Forty Eight (48) hours.

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, DDMA, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed all the members of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Dimapur, that the Ist quarterly meeting has been convened to review monsoon preparedness activities and also to review COVID-19 containment and management activities, to be held at DC conference hall Dimapur on 5th May 2021 at 12:00 Noon.
