In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ADC Tizit, Pakon Phom NCS, on 6th May 2021 ordered the sealing of the residence of Noklem (Neitong Village) adjacent to N.H Hotel, Police Ward, Tizit Town till further order.  

Additional Deputy Commissioner Pfutsero in a circular informed the general public of Pfutsero Sub-Division that as per notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Phek in regard to outbreak of African Swine Flu (ASF) in Phek and Kiphire districts, the general public has been informed to remain vigilant and report any unusual mortality of domestic pigs and feral pigs to the office of Assistant Veterinary Surgeon, Pfutsero.

Tening Sub-Divisional Task Force (SDTF) on Covid-19 meeting was held at Town Hall, Tening on 7th May 2021.  The meeting was attended by the Pastors of different Church and GB's of Tening Town. 

In continuation to the Office Order dated Mon the 3rd May 2021 and in reference to Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Home Department, Nagaland Addendum dated Kohima the 4th May 2021, DC Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS, on 6th May 2021 issued an addendum order closing all places of mass gathering including places of religious worship with immediate effect.

The Wokha District Task Force for COVID-19 held a review meeting on 7th May 2021 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall. ADC, Wokha Lankonsen Tsanglao chaired the meeting.
