NBSE INFORMS ON HSLC & HSSLC EXAM RESULTS

The Nagaland Board of School Education has notified for information of all concerned that, in view of the Lockdown being imposed across the Country due to   COVID-19 pandemic, the process of results preparation for the HSLC & HSSLC Examinations 2020 have been put on hold. However, in pursuance of the Government of Nagaland Order dated 11th April 2020, works have resumed with few staff.

ADC ABOI NOTIFIES ON MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCING

Additional Deputy Commissioner Aboi, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS has notified that in order to combat the spread of Covid-19, it is important to maintain practices of social distancing in the lives of every citizen. Since the imposition of lock down in certain places like banks and ATMs have witnessed extraordinary rush in order to avail various govt. benefits under PMGKY. As a result, maintaining social distancing in such places have become a challenge.

REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN THE STATE

Home Department of the Nagaland State Government issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 28th of April, 2020. The report stated that 16 (Sixteen) violations of the lockdown were reported and 27(Twenty Seven) persons were bound down. Further, 5 (Five) vehicles were seized and a fine of Rs 500 (Five Hundred) was imposed under the MV Act.

STATE GOVERNMENT FREEZES DEARNESS ALLOWANCE AND DEARNESS RELIEF

In view of the crisis arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, the State Government has decided that the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief to State Government employees and pensioners respectively due from 1st January 2020, 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 shall not be paid. However, they shall continue to be paid at the current rates till further order.
