DIRECTORATE OF SCHOOL EDUCATION NOTIFIES ON VIDEO LESSONS

The Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that the Department of School Education would commence telecast of Video lessons on important subjects in classes 8,9,10 and 12 through Doordarshan, Kohima from 1st May 2020 for compensating the loss of instructional days caused due to the ongoing Lockdown. The lessons will also be broadcasted through All India Radio (AIR) from 2nd May 2020.

LAW & ORDER REPORT FOR 29TH APRIL 2020

Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IASin the Law & Order report on COVID-19 as on 29th April 2020 has stated that 30 persons have violated the lock down. 34 persons were bound down with find imposed under MV Act- Rs, 25.600/- and 130 vehicles have been seized. Further, it has been reported that two person have been arrested under P.S Satakha on FIR as remedial steps against the violations.

HOME DEPT CAUTIONS AGAINST HUNTING

The Home Department has issued an advisory in Connection to Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Notification NO.AHV/NPVCP/59/2019, dated 28.04.2020, whereby a ban on import of Pigs has been imposed throughout the State, in view of the outbreak of African Swine Fever in neighbouring States.

DC DIMAPUR WARNS PEOPLE INDULGING IN PRICE RISE

Following reports received from the public about price rise specially cement, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Kinchi IAS has cautioned and warned that strict action would be initiated against the defaulters. He said this during a meeting convened by him with the District Level Price Monitoring Committee in the conference Hall of DC Dimapur on 30th April 2020.
