Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie held a meeting with the members of District Water Sanitation Mission on implementation of Flagship programme Jal Jeevan Mission on 15th June 2020 at DC Chamber Office Kohima 

Kohima District Task Force COVID-19 held a meeting on 15th June 2020 at the DC office chamber, Kohima.

The meeting was held in regarding the recommendation of Chief Secretary for release of returnees those who have tested twice of negative result from Paid Quarantine and Institutional Quarantine to Home quarantine for Kohima and to Other Districts.

The full text is as follows:

“Today, ­­­­5 samples tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 168. Out of this, the total active cases are 80, and 88 persons have recovered.

All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 80 active cases are asymptomatic.

The full text of the letter addressed to the NEAN by the Dept of H&FW is as follows:

Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru informed that no violation of the lockdown nor any law & order incident have been reported in the State as on 14th June 2020.

The full text is as follows :

“Today, 7 samples has been tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 163. Out of this, the total active cases are 87, and 76 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 87 active cases are asymptomatic cases.

Till date, a total of 5,945 samples have been tested. Results of 4,616 samples have been received and 1,329 samples are awaited.
