The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) of Dimapur served breakfast to all the Bus drivers and Transportation Committee who are assigned to a chain of duties related to the Returnees as they awaited the arrival of the Shramik special train from New Delhi i.e. 16th June 2020.
The YWCA also served breakfast to the officers and Traffic personnel at the Dimapur Traffic Control Room.
Today, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India held a meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Ministers, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governors and Hon’ble Administrators of 21(twenty one) States and Union Territories through video conferencing to review and assess the current situation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The DTF members Kiphire held meeting on Saturday evening, 13th June at District Planning and Development Board hall, chaired by DC Smti Sarita Yadav.
Discussing with respect to inter/Intra District movement of passengers and conveyance, the members agreed to maintain status Quo restricting free movements.
Additional Director of Health and Family Welfare cum i/c of Chief Medical Officer Peren, Nagaland, Dr. Denis Hangsing had released 10 returnees to Tening Sub Division facility quarantine on 14th June, 2020.

Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru stated in the report that, there was no violations, and Law & Order incidents across the State.
