Superintendent of Police, Wokha has notified that the following traffic regulations have been made with effect from 26th October 2020 till further order.

The full text is as follows:

“A total of ­157 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 30 in Kohima, 119 in Dimapur, 1 in Mon, 3 in Peren, 2 in Mokokchung and 2 in Kiphire. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,296.

Mon District Planning Board meeting was held at DRDA conference hall Mon on 21st October 2020 under the chairmanship of Chairman DPDB, Thongwang Konyak MLA.

Ban of dog meat at Longleng town has been prohibited/banned with immediate effect. Non-compliance to the order shall invite strict action as per existing provisions/laws.

Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Reny Wilfred, IAS in a meeting circular stated that, the inaugural meeting of District Planning and Development Board, Noklak has been scheduled on 27th October 2020 at 11 AM at DC Conference Hall.

Commissioner & Secretary Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Dr. P.J. Antony has informed that the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat will be organizing a function to commend the services of the Legislators' Forum on AIDS (LFA) which had wound up its functioning formally in June, 2020.

The function to be chaired by the Speaker NLA, Sharingain Longkumer will be held on Friday, 23rd October, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Conference Hall of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.
