The Celebration of 13th National Voters' Day (NVD), under the theme, "Nothing like Voting, I Vote for sure", shall be observed on 25th January 2023 at 11:00 AM, DC's conference hall Phek.

Consequent upon the announcement of the schedule for the General Election in the State, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, has directed all Head of Offices and all the government employees under Mokokchung District to be in station with immediate effect.

            In pursuance of the Chief Electoral Officer letter and Election Commission of India, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, has informed all the Bank Managers/Branch Managers under Mokokchung District to consider a single window with dedicated staff so as to facilitate prospective candidates for opening of separate Bank Account on priority basis.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS under his Chairmanship has constituted a committee in the district in order to ensure observation of Model Code of Conduct and smooth conduct of General election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023.

In accordance with the National Policy of Education (1986), the Government of India established Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to provide good quality modern education to talented children predominantly from the rural areas. As of now 649 JNVs have been established across the country.
