In order to ensure observation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and smooth conduct of the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, the District Level Standing Committee is constituted with DC & DEO, Longleng as Chairman and Additional Superintendent of Police, EAC HQ Dr.

A meeting of the District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) and Nodal Officers (NOs) with the District Election Officer (DEO) and Returning Officer (RO) of Longleng was held at DC's conference hall on 23rd January 2023.

In connection with the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct in Longleng district, District Contact Centre (DCC) with toll-free number 1950 at the DC & DEO office, Longleng has been operationalized for complaint redressal.

The district-level Media Certification & Monitoring Committee (MCMC) for Longleng has been constituted with the following members headed by Deputy Commissioner & DEO, Longleng as  Chairman, and ADC & Returning Officer, Assistant Election Officer & ARO and District Public Relations Officer, Longleng as members.

The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has notified under Article 190 clause 3(b) of the Indian constitution read with rule 180 Clause (1) (2) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly that the Speaker Nagaland Legislative Assembly has accepted the resignation tendered by Imkong L.

The Motor Vehicles Department, Office of the Transport Commissioner Nagaland has issued press information stating that overloading on highways and roads is becoming a complex issue of concern in the state.
