In the wake of COVID-19, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is designed for fanners engaged in cultivation of vegetables, fruits, spices, flowers and plantation crops to reduce the risk of spreading the virus while protecting the farming operations in various horticultural fields.

DC DIMAPUR DIRECTS SANITIZATION OF LPG CYLINDERS
In order to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS, has directed the Senior Sales Officer of LPG Bottling Plant, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Chumukedima for ensuring sanitization of all LPG cylinders and the vehicles on LPG distribution on duty for providing door to door delivery services of LPG cylinders to the public.
REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
As on 17th April, 2020, 4 violations of the lockdown were reported in the State. While issuing the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services, the Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha informed that remedial steps were taken against the various violations of the lockdown. 2 people were arrested and 3 people were bound down. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.
