The report on Law & Order in Nagaland with regard to COVID-29 lock down on 23rd May stated that 1(one) person violated the lock down and 1(one) arrest was made. It added that 1(one) FIR case was registered. However, it stated that no law & order incident has been reported in the State as per the statement made by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Home Hiazu Meru.

“As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 1035 samples have been sent for testing. The results of 988 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 47 samples are awaited. Today, a total of 3986 persons have been screened in the State. A total of 1809 persons are under Facility Quarantine.

Home Department has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 22ndMay, 2020. From the State Emergency Operation Centre Control room COVID-19 Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Hiazu Meru stated that 1(One ) person violated the Lock down curfew Order process and 6 (Six) and from various sections fine imposed under MV Act =Rs, 30,450. Further the report stated that 173 Vehicles were challaned under various MV. Act.
