The Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) felicitated the 12th HSLC ExaminationTopper 2020, Md. Zaheer-Ul-Alam who secured the top position from amongst the Government School under Kohima district at DPDB's Conference Hall, Kohima on 10th June 2020. 

Covid-19 potentiated group Kiphire held its meeting on 9th June 2030 at the DPDB hall Kiphire under the chairmanship of DC Kiphire,SaritaYadav.

DC expressed so far, that returnees from other parts of have been safely quarantined at four different location i.e ZPC -54, Loyola -17 and DUDA rest house, and more people are expected to arrive. As the quarantine centreis about to be exhausted deliberations were held on moreaccommodationsforquarantine centres.  

On 9th June, 2020, 69 returnees arrived at Akuluto town in Zunheboto District. The 38 males and 31 females arrived at JNV Akuluto in three buses. The group will be quarantined at JNV Akuluto itself. The group consists of 68 from the Gujarat/Maharashtra special train and one female from Agri Expo transit centre.

According to a report received from SMO Pfutsero, 32 person arrived at Pfutsero on 9th June evening, all were thermal scanned and are quarantined in JNV Lewoza, Pfutsero.

The anti Malaria month kicked off as per the order No.CMO-8/NVBDCP-24/20192020 dated 30th May 2020 Tuensang. ‘Zero Malaria Starts with Me’ was kicked off from Shamator Village.

“Today, 5 samples were tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 127. Out of this, the total active cases is 119. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.
