Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A IAS has reiterated in an order, that the ban on burning of jungles shall still remain enforced in Kohima district till further directions. 

The Mishilimi Village Council has informed all the public of Mishilimi village and its neighbouring Village that the Mishilimi Village is celebrating 100 yrs Christianity Centenary Jubilee on 21st December 2021 and in commemoration of the celebration, the Village Council has resolved to ban all kinds of Hunting and Fishing within the jurisdiction of Mishilimi Village w.e.f 1st January 2021 to 30th December 2021.

In the interest of public safety and convenience and as per rules laid down under Section 112 of MV Act, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur has notified that the vehicular speed limit is fixed at 40kms per hour within Dimapur Town area upto Chumoukedima for a period of one month with effect from 5th January 2021 to 3rd February 2021.
