On the last date of filing nomination papers for the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, three more candidates and three standby candidates under Kohima district filed their nominations papers to their respective Returning Officers on 7th February 2023.

On the last day of the filing of nomination for the Nagaland Assembly election to be held on 27th February 2023, Er. T. Thomas Konyak as INC candidate and Tahwang Ang as NPF candidate filed their nomination papers for 41 Tizit A/C on 7th February 2023. 

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Dimapur Sachin Jaiswal, IAS informed that the final list of Polling Station for 1-DIMAPUR-I, 2-DIMAPUR-II, and 3- DIMAPUR-III Assembly Constituencies has been published and is available for inspection at the Office of the District Election Officer, Dimapur during office hours. 

Nine candidates were qualified for the forthcoming general election for 59 & 60 Assembly Constituency which was conducted at DC Office Kiphire on 8th February 2023.
