The full text of the statement on COVID-19 as given by the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IAS is as follows :

“Good evening

In the interest of public service, the Department of Health & Family Welfare has informed that the flow-chart depicting the movement of the 1st positive COVID-19 patient from Dimapur has been published for the benefit of all potential contacts to aid in establishing their possibility of contact with the above mentioned Index Case.

In connection with the detection of 1stCOVID-19 casein Dimapur, all concerned who have travelled in the same flight (Air India 709 on 24th March 2020) or have come in contact with the above mentioned positive case (Index Case), have been informed to mandatorily report to the nearest Hospital or through phone calls to respective District Helpline phone numbers given below:

The Kohima Municipal Council has acknowledged with heartfelt gratitude the following benefactors who had generously donated towards the Kohima Municipal Council Covid -19 Sanitation Fund (in cash & in kind).

As the positive cases of COVID-19 increase in the country, the Government has chalked out and implemented the "Cluster Containment Strategy" in States where the threat of community transmission has increased.

Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 15th of April, 2020. According to the report, 3 violations of the lockdown were reported and subsequently, 3 people were arrested. No Law and Order incident has been reported in the State.
