District level training on COVID-19 was held at District Hospital Kiphire conference hall, on 30th April 2020.The training was given to the police personnel, doctors and veterinary doctors.

The Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that the Department of School Education would commence telecast of Video lessons on important subjects in classes 8,9,10 and 12 through Doordarshan, Kohima from 1st May 2020 for compensating the loss of instructional days caused due to the ongoing Lockdown. Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IASin the Law & Order report on COVID-19 as on 29th April 2020 has stated that 30 persons have violated the lock down. 34 persons were bound down with find imposed under MV Act- Rs, 25.600/- and 130 vehicles have been seized.
