Transport Department has notified that the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MVL Section) has provided facility in PARIVAHAN portal through NIC to allow payment of road tax in bulk for facilitation of fleet owners. Henceforth, fleet owners in the State are allowed payment of road tax of multiple vehicles as has been provided in the portal by the NIC.

The State Transport Department has notified that: 1.      BS III and IV emission standards shall not apply to motor vehicles used for Government Purposes relating to the defence of the country. 2.      Such vehicles may get registered as under:- a.       Ownership type: - Central/State Government Police,' Law Enforcement and Central Government Organization.
