DC KOHIMA ISSUES ASF CONTAINMENT ORDER

 

 

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, has issued an order following the confirmation of an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) at T. Khel Model Village, Khikha Colony under Kohima district.

According to a laboratory test report received from the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, the outbreak was confirmed on June 11, 2026.

M. G. KENYE CONVENES COMMITTEE MEETING OF CEALPP

 

 

M. G. Kenye, Minister, Parliamentary Affairs and the Chairperson of the Committee to Examine the Applicability of Law passed by Parliament (CEALPP) has conveyed it's Meeting to adopt its draft report on the 24th of June, 2026 at 12: 00 A.M in the C. Chongshen Committee Room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.

All the members of the Committee are requested to make it convenient to attend the afore mentioned meeting.

LABOUR COMMISSIONER NAGALAND NOTIFIES ON DEREGISTRATION OF UNION

 

 

The Labour Commissioner Nagaland has notified for the general information that the following Trade Unions registered under Section 8 of the Trade Unions Act, 1926 are found to be defaulting / non-functional and hence are liable for deregistration by the Registrar of Trade Union.

1.      Dimapur Motor Workers Trade Union, Dimapur

2.      Dimapur Auto Rickshaw Owners Union.

DC ZUNHEBOTO ANNOUNCED SECURITY MEASURES FOR ATOIZU TOWN COUNCIL WARD-9 VOTE COUNTING

 

 

The Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto, Dharam Raj, IAS, has issued an order outlining strict security and conduct guidelines for the counting of votes for the Atoizu Town Council Ward-9 by-election, scheduled to be held on June 19, 2026, at 8:00 AM at the District Civil Supply Office, Zunheboto. The counting date is in line with the election programme announced by the Nagaland State Election Commission.
