The office of the Superintendent of Police, Wokha, has issued a notification enforcing mandatory provisions under Sections 6, 8, 9, and 10 of the Immigration & Foreigners Act, 2025. The order directs strict adherence to registration and reporting requirements for foreigners arriving in the district, with the SP office designated as the Registration Office.
SCERT BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING DIRECTOR KEVIRALE-U KERHUO
A formal retirement ceremony was held at SCERT Kohima, to honour Director SCERT, Kevirale-u Kerhuo in recognition of her dedicated service and outstanding contributions. She retired on 31st March2026 after 33 years of exemplary leadership.

Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu. Japheth Woch, NCS has notified that certain individuals/groups in the district are engaging in illegal money lending without a license from the concerned authority under the Nagaland Money Lender Act 2005.
DEPARTMENT OF FOOD & CIVIL SUPPLIES INFORMS
The Department of Food & Civil Supplies, Government of Nagaland through a press note issued on 26th March 2026 has assured the general public that there is no shortage of LPG (domestic and commercial) or other Petroleum products in the State at present. It stated that Adequate stocks are being maintained by the Oil Marketing Companies, and supply lines continue to function normally.
