EAC Ngwalwa, Sizin Renttah, has extended the renewal deadline for all land permit holders under the Ngwalwa EAC Office until September 15, 2023. Land permit holders have been requested to renew their permits on or before this date. In response to the identification of cases of African Swine Fever in multiple locations within the Kohima District, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS, has issued a restrictive order. The order designates Sechü Zubza as an Infected Zone, encompassing a radius of 1km from the infected premises. Additionally, a Surveillance Zone has been established, covering a 10 km radius from the infected premises.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS, has issued a public notice regarding traffic regulations in the city. The designated route from Naga Hospital Colony to Tinpati (Census Junction), passing through New Market, Daklane, Naga Bazaar, Kezieke, and Pezielitsie, will be designated as "ONE-WAY-DOWN TRAFFIC" from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Monday to Friday, effective from August 28, 2023.
