To commemorate the World Environment Day 2026, a mass social work was conducted at all government offices, educational institutions, business establishments and private residences across Aghunato Town on 5^th June 2026.

The Beautiful Hill Station Town of Nagaland, Shamator the Brotherhood district observes the World Environment Day with the rest of the world, by planting saplings in all the offices and along the roadside led by the district administration, Police, NGOs and Village Guards.

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, 78 Battalion, CRPF, Zubza, organized a series of environmental awareness and conservation activities in collaboration with Don Bosco School, Zubza.

Regulation 2.3.4 of the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sale of certain products) Regulations 2011, as amended intervalley, stipulates that Tobacco and Nicotine shall not be used as ingredients in any food products.
