Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS, has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Jotsoma Village, Scchii Zubza Sub-division, Kohima the area defined below is demarcated as Sealed Area, in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

“A meeting of the High Powered Committee on COVID-19 was held today under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Nagaland with the Co-Chairman, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister along with Members, the Hon’ble Minister, Health & FW, Hon’ble Minister, Planning, LR & Parliamentary Affairs, Hon’ble Advisor, IT & ST and NRE and senior officials of the State Government.
Minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi will grace the COVID-19 Pandemic BRAVE FRONTS ACCOLADE organised by Nagaland NGOs Forum and Vivekananda Welfare Foundation which will be held at Dimapur Town Hall, Half Nagarjan on 12th July 2020 at 2pm.
DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi and Commissioner of Police Rothihu Tetsowill also attend the function as guest of honours.
