Pre-recruitment training for local youths of Kohima District will be imparted by a team from 1 Assam Rifles. They will be visiting the villages and obtaining requisite data from the eligible candidates. It has been informed that Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would be advertising for the post of Constable (GD) in CAPFs and Rfn/Rfw (GD) in the Assam Rifles in the first quarter of the year 2021. 

Eligibility criteria for GD Category:

1. Education qualification:

Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized board or university 

2. Age Limit :

18 to 23 years (Upper age limit relaxable for 05 years in case of SC and ST category candidates and 03 years for OBC Category candidates) 

3. Physical Efficiency Test :

5 km in 24 minutes for Male and 1.6 kms in 8 1/2 minutes for female 

4. The cut off percentage of marks: 

            (a) General and Ex Servicemen - 35%

            (b) SC/ST/OBC - 33%

5. Written Test:

            (a) Computer Based Examination/OMR based
