Nagaland Police has launched a month-long Statewide Operation w.e.f 11.01.2022 in order to combat the menace of widespread availability and usage of synthetic drugs and psychotropic substances and IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) and its effects on the youth. Intensive checking in all check posts especially inter-district check posts, raids and checking of hotels, restaurants, etc. have been launched to prevent any such illegal activities.

Nagaland Police has appealed to the general public to provide information of sale/distribution of any form of narcotics/drugs/IMFL etc. to the nearest Police Station or Narcotic Police Station. The CUG (Closed User Group) phone numbers of various Nagaland Police Officers & Police Stations is available in 'Call Your Cop" mobile App. The identity of the informant shall be kept confidential.
