Directorate of School Education has notified that the Government of India has decided to organize creative writing contest for students of classes 6 to 12 celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur at 5 levels ( School, Block, District, State and National levels) during the period 1^st May 2021 to February 2022. The top 200 winners from the State level contest will participate at the National level contest which will be organized by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) through MyGov Platform.

In this regard, Heads of all Schools (Both Govt. & Private) having classes 6 to 12 have been informed to organize Creative Writing, Creative Presentations, Portfolio Activity, Role Play etc for students of aforesaid classes so as to integrate the life and historic perspective of Guru Teg Bahadur in the classroom/online transactions during the period of June to August 2021.Schools shall issue Certificate of Participation to all students participating at the various events.

The Block and State level contests will be organized in the months of September and October 2021respectivelyand detailed notifications for the same will be issued in due course of time.

Heads of all GHSSs, GHSs & Private Schools shall submit the report of activities undertaken in this regard to the respective DEOs and Heads of all GMSs shall submit the report to the respective Sr. SDEOs/ SDEOs in the format given below in MS Excel File through email.

All DEOs/Sr. SDEOs/SDEOs shall compile reports submitted by schools under their jurisdiction and submit the Consolidated Report to the Directorate of School Education before 5^th September 2021 through Google Drive link which will be provided in due course of time.
