The State Government has notified the proposed new rates for the Government facilities/hospitals providing the respective tests:

The following category of persons shall be exempted from the charges:

·        BPL Card Holders.

·        Elders above 60 years & Children below 10 years.

·        Those who are Contact Traced.

With regard to private laboratories/ hospitals, on account of the decreased costs of kits and consumables, and keeping in mind the prevailing rates in other states, it has been informed that consultation may be held with them and the revised rates notified by Principal Director.
