Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho general meeting cum installation of Office Bearers 2021-2025 was held on 20th February 2021 at Town Hall Pughoboto.

The installation of New office bearers 2021-2025 was announced by Qhutovi Wotsa, Member Search Committee.

Newly appointed Office bearers were blessed with a prayer by Rev G Kiyeto Sema, Pastor SABCK. 

Short speeches were given by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pughoboto, Thungchanbemo Tungoe, and Suhoje Kiho, Former President, Sumi Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho. 

The ADC in his speech said that Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho is an Apex body under Pughoboto Sub division representing the entire Aphuyemi in general. He exhorted them to be men of integrity and not be influenced by politics. 

Thungchanbemo congratulated the SAH office bearers who worked earnestly for Aphuyemi especially during the time of pandemic through their contributions and congratulated the new office bearers. 

Suhoje Kiho, Former president Sumi Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho, highlighted that Hohos are being formed to represent the general public grievances of the particular region and also to build good relationship with neighbouring people. 

During his presidentship of Sumi Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho, he organised an emergency meeting to form Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho which became the need of the hour during difficult times and hardship to take necessary measures for the general well being of Aphuyemi. 

Lukiqhe, President NDPP Pughoboto Division also urged the Aphuyemi not to be self centered but instead create decorum and make good relationship and respect neighbouring villages and Aphuyemi in general.
