The Directorate of Health & Family Welfare has informed that the Reliance Industries Ltd under its corporate responsibility has decided to offer Free Fuel to Emergency Service vehicles strictly for the following purpose.
- For carrying COVID-19 patients to and from designated quarantine and dedicated COVID- 19 Hospitals or Isolation facilities.
- For carrying people who have been advised quarantine at designated quarantine or Isolation facilities.
Free Fuel will be issued by Reliance Retail Outlets only to emergency service vehicles driver/ crew on production of authorization letter (Sample Copy given below) issued only by the following authorized Government Authorities;
- District Administration Officer identified by the Deputy Commissioner of the district.
- Chief Medical Officer of the district.
- District Police Administration identified by the Superintendent of Police of the district.
NB:
- The authorization letter shall be valid for one time fill and shall be retained at Reliance Retail Outlets.
- The authorized Government Authorities shall issue authorization letter in duplicate (original for Reliance Retail Outlets and duplicate copy as office record).
The fuel quantity capped at up to 50 (Fifty) litres maximum per vehicle per day or any quantity up to 50 (Fifty) litres maximum.
The Free Fuel gesture will be wef from 30th March 2020 till 14th April 2020.
