A meeting regarding implementation of DHARTI AABHA JANJATIYA GRAM UTKARSH ABHIYAN (DA-JGUA) at Medziphema sub-division was held at the conference hall, city centre at Medziphema on 17th June, 2025.
The meeting was chaired by ADC Medziphema, P. James Swu. The meeting deliberated on conducting an Awareness and Benefits Saturation Camp on 24th June 2025, at City Centre, Medziphema and decided on the launch of DA-JGUA.
The chairman distributed all the scheduled work to all the departments and urged them to make necessary arrangements for the awareness-cum-saturation camps as per their respective government schemes.
The scheme is set to be implemented in 9 villages within Medziphema sub-division and benefit the local tribals.
This DA-JGUA is a government initiative aimed at improving the socio-economic condition of tribal communities in India, aiming to address gaps in social infrastructure, healthcare, education and livelihood.
The meeting was attended by NGOs, representatives from banks, MTC, VCC, VDB, AADHAK SEVA, MTSU BECKON CLUB, CSC, 22nd Assam Rifles CIH, ICAR(KUK) CHC, UFATI and BDO, CDPO and SDAO.
