A one-day baking and dessert training program was successfully conducted at the Lower Forest Colony Community Hall, Kohima, with Pelong Konyak of PEE CEE Homemades as the Resource Person (Master Chef) on 7th June 2025.

The event saw the participation of around 80 individuals from the colony. Pelong Konyak expressed her appreciation to the residents of Forest Colony for organizing such skill-based programs and encouraged the participants to continue practicing what they had learned.

Cenam Wangsha, President of the Forest Colony Women Union, congratulated all the successful participants and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person for sharing her knowledge. She also extended thanks to the Aonglar Women Welfare Society for sponsoring the event and providing the necessary materials.

The training aimed to equip participants with basic baking and dessert-making skills, promoting self-reliance and encouraging home-based entrepreneurship among women and youth.
