Home Guards & Civil Defence, Mon in collaboration with Disaster Management Committee, Wangkhao College conducted Mock Drill Demonstration and Emergency method of Rescue on 20th February 2020 at Wangkhao College campus, Mon.

            District Commandant, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Mon, Ngongvai E. Phom in his keynote address stated that, the demonstration is to generate awareness and effective response to disasters like earthquake, accident or any other disaster. Disaster is inevitable where we can only prepare ourselves on preparedness and response during the time of emergencies.

            Principal, Wangkhao Government College, Mon Dr. M. L. Ngullie while appreciating District Commandant and his staff stated that, awareness on emergency method of rescue during the time of natural disaster will be of great impact.  He also expressed his gratitude for giving awareness to the students and faculty.

            A brief explanation on earthquake, its consequences and preparedness were also highlighted. Characteristic of knotting, bandaging, emergency methods of rescue etc. were demonstrated.      

            Meanwhile, on 14th February 2020, Home Guards & Civil Defence Mon also conducted Mock Drill Demonstration and Emergency method of Rescue at District Jail, Mon.
