The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has notified that in pursuance of the decision taken during the RTA meeting on 4th November 2022 and in continuation of the RTA Order issued on 30th November 2021, Point no. IV, Passenger fares of two-wheeler taxis from various locations under Kohima Municipal Area to ISBT and vice versa have been fixed based on the following:-
a. Base rate from starting point to the first point at Rs. 30/-
b. Subsequent addition from the first point onwards will be at the rate of Rs. 20/- per point.
In this regard, the following rates have been fixed for two-wheeler taxis from various locations under Kohima Municipal Area to ISBT and vice versa.

The aforementioned rates are to be strictly adhered to till further notice from the Regional Transport Authority, Kohima. Violation of rates fixed by the Regional Transport Authority, Kohima may invite cancellation and suspension of the permit under Section 86 of the MV Act. 1988.
