For the convenience of the public, the Nagaland Medical Council (NMC) has partnered with the Health and Family Welfare Department for providing OPD service in Kohima in the backdrop of the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) being converted to a COVID Hospital. The OPD service will start w.e.f 21st April, 2020 in the following locations:

The healthcare professionals who have volunteered their service during the COVID-19 pandemic are being utilized to offer this service. Depending on the availability of the volunteers, this service will be expanded to other locations and districts in a phased manner.

It may be noted that this service is complementary to the arrangement of specialist consultation in Urban Primary Health Centres, routine services continuing in all other non- COVID health centres, and PMJAY services in empanelled private hospitals.
