DC, Mokokchung has informed that in view of the repair and restoration works

carried out at Longpong bridge along the Asetkong- Tsusangra road at 27.00 KM chainage

from 4 th November to 2 nd December, 2026, there will be a complete restriction on plying of

heavy vehicles weighing above 8 (eight) MT (Metric Tonnes) along the stretch road with

immediate effect.

Further, DC has informed that plying of light vehicles along the said stretch has been

restricted from 4 th November to 17 th November, 2026.

DC has appealed and advised the public to cooperate with the administration and

follow the traffic regulation while the repair and restoration work is completed.
