Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mon Wennyei Konyak, NCS, informed that the Election Commission of India has revised the schedule of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026 as follows:

1. Notice Phase/Disposal of Claims and Objections: 20th September 2026 to 25th November 2026.

2. Final Publication: 30th November 2026.

He directed all the Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers to take note of the revised schedule, and to ensure that all pending activities related to SIR 2026 are completed within the stipulated timeline. It further requested to inform all concerned BLOs and Supervisors under their respective jurisdictions and ensure strict compliance with the revised schedule.
