Consequent to the formal on boarding of the “Jeevan Pramaan–Digital Life Certificate (DLC)” system by the Government of Nagaland, the Senior Treasury Office of Chümoukedima has directed all state, central, and other state government pensioners drawing their pensions under its jurisdiction, to actively transition to the digital platform.

The digital initiative aims to enhance the "Ease of Living" for senior citizens by eliminating the traditional requirement of physical appearance at the Treasury Office for annual pension verification. Pensioners who successfully generate and map their Digital Life Certificate through the portal will be fully exempted from physical verification.

It also informed that Special Provisions for Senior citizens above 80 years of age, or individuals facing severe health constraints, may submit their verification through an authorized representative, subject to presenting valid supporting documentation approved by the Treasury Office.
