The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisages Equitable and Inclusive Education- Learning for All. The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016 defines inclusive education as a “system of education wherein students with and without disabilities learn together and the system of teaching and learning is suitably adapted to meet the learning needs of different types of students with disabilities.”
In line with the vision of NEP-2020 and RPWD Act, 2016 for equitable and inclusive education, NBSE has notified the ‘Revised Rules relating to students with disabilities vide Notification No.30/2022 dated 21st March 2022. NBSE in collaboration with Changeinkk Foundation has launched an SLD (Specific Learning disabilities) chatbot on NBSE’s portal on 3rd December 2022.
To create further awareness, the NBSE along with Changeinkk Foundation is organizing a webinar for all Heads of Institutions to learn strategies on how they can improve their institution’s learning outcomes by enabling inclusive classrooms that allow students with learning disabilities to thrive. Changeinkk Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating pathways of success for neurodiverse individuals from cradle to career, in particular those with SLDs by enabling an inclusive ecosystem.
All the Heads of Registered Institutions are directed to note the date and time of the webinar and attend the webinar without fail. Attendance will be mandatory.
