In continuation to Notification No.22 Dated Kohima 8^th March 2021 on celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence –Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, Nagaland Board of School Education has informed that the following activities have been planned to be conducted by the schools preferably in virtual format/mode during the period mentioned below.

 

Activity A:     From 1^st July to 31^st July 2021.

1. Classes VIII to X

i.  To conduct a drawing competition on Naga’s art and culture.

ii. To conduct a drawing competition on various aspects of Mahatma Gandhi’s life.

iii.To conduct a craft making competition in line with Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts.

 

Schools can select any of the activity for the respective classes. Schools can take a photograph of the activities done or take a video of the best entry along with the name and class of the student and mail it to collessay21@gmail.com.

 

Activity B:      From 1^st August till 14^th August 2021.

1. Class XII

i. To write an essay on howMahatma Gandhi had influenced the Indian National  Movement for Independence (300 words minimum)

Or

ii.What would Mahatma Gandhi want the citizens of India today to make a better India? (300 words minimum)

 

The Activities A and B are meant for both Government and Private Schools. After the conduct of the activities, the schools are to screen the entries submitted by the students and mail the best 1 (one) entry in word format from each school to collessay21@gmail.com. The submission dates for Activity A and B are given below. The schedule for the conduct of activities /events by the Board is given as follows:

                   Every school must participate in the above two activities. Students should be encouraged to actively participate.
