A Two-day Programme on Drug Free India (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) was held at Mangkolemba on 25th and 26th June 2026 at ADC Conference Hall and Town Hall, Mangkolemba respectively.
On 25th June, the representatives from Mangkolemba Town Council, Village Councils, CSOs and GBs attended the programme with Resource Persons: Dr. Sentimental, SMO, CHC, Mangkolemba and Rongsensashi, SDPO, Mangkolemba. While the SDO (C), Mangkolemba, Rohbi Sangtem was the Special Guest.
On the second day, the students, Youth and Person with Substance Use Disorder participated in the programme with Dr. Mungro Imchen CHC, Mangkolemba and Inspector Sashi, OC, PS Mangkolemba as the resource persons.
EAC Alongkima, Mhathung Ngullie addressed the gathering. During the two-day Programme, Topic on "Talk on Drug and Substance Abuse" and "Legal Provision Relating to Drugs and Narcotics" were presented by the Resource Persons. The Programme was organised by the District Administration and Department of Social Welfare, Mangkolemba.
