ECI NOTIFIED ON BYE-ELECTION IN 43 TAPI | DIPR Nagaland-Department of Information & Public Relations, Nagaland

The Election Commission of India through its Press Note vide No.ECl/PN/58/2023 dated 9^lh October, 2023 had announced the schedule for conduct of Bye- election in 43-Tapi (ST) Assembly Constituency of Nagaland. The schedule for the election is as follows:-

Last Date of making Nominations	20^th October. 2023 (Friday)
Date for Scrutiny of Nominations	21^st October, 2023 (Saturday)
Last Date for Withdrawal of candidatures	23^rd October, 2023 (Monday)
Date of Poll	7^thNovember, 2023 (Tuesday)
Date of Counting	3^rd December, 2023 (Sunday)
Date before which election shall be completed	5^th December, 2023 (Tuesday)

Consequent on the announcement of the schedule for the Conduct of Bye-election to 43-Tapi (ST) Assembly Constituency, 2023, the Model Code of Conduct comes into force with immediate effect in the district of Mon and shall be applicable to all Candidates, Political Parties, and the State Government and to the Union Government.
