             Deputy Commissioner and District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Chairman Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir has informed that Rs. 50,000 (Fifty Thousand only) Ex-Gratia will be paid per deceased by COVID-19 in the District by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to the next kin of the deceased through Direct Benefit Transfer procedures.

            Therefore, in order to avail the Ex-Gratia, the following documents are to be submitted by the next to kin of the deceased at the DDMA Cell, DC Office Mokokchung.

1.      Application Form (Annexure-A),

2.      Death Certificate,

3.      Certificate from the Hospital in which the deceased died (Mentioning cause of death,

4.      Passport photo of claimant,

5.      Aadhaar Card of claimant,

6.      Bank Account details of claimant.

            The Ex-Gratia assistance will be applicable from the date of first COVID-19 case reported in the country and will continue till de-notification of COVID-19 as a disaster or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
